ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS
EPIC’s Greyling Division was specifically built for design professionals by employing former practicing construction attorneys and general counsel of architecture and engineering firms, veterans of the insurance industry with decades of design professional focus, a licensed professional engineer who served on the risk management committee of one of the largest engineering firms in the country, a former professional liability underwriter from a leading A/E insurer, the program manager of the ACEC Business Insurance Trust Program, and individuals with specialty A/E certifications such as LEED and CRIS.
Our varied experience provides our clients with unequalled industry insight, from complex and international insurance placements and peer benchmarks for limits and premium to risk management consulting and claims advice tailored to design professionals. We have direct relationships with leading insurers in the A/E professional liability market as well as preferred property and casualty markets with A/E service groups.
We are also on the forefront of specialized insurance products pertinent to the risks faced by A/E firms, including captive insurance programs, project-specific professional liability, cyber and technology, drones, trade credit, and representation and warranty or contingent liability associated with transactions.
EPIC’s Greyling Division represents a significant number of the ENR Top 500 Design Firms and is now the broker and program manager for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Business Insurance Trust.
In addition, we are actively involved in and support the Environmental Financial Consulting Group (EFCG), the American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL), and the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Construction Law.
