A joint cybersecurity advisory was issued by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) warning of an imminent cybercrime threat to U.S. hospital and healthcare providers.
It describes the tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) used by cybercriminals to infect systems with Ryuk ransomware.
CISA, FBI and HHS are advising all entities within the healthcare sector to take immediate precautions to protect their networks from these threats.
