Mental wellbeing touches nearly every aspect of our lives. From energy and focus to stress, sleep, and emotional resilience. In fact, nearly one in five U.S. adults experiences a diagnosable mental health condition in a given year, underscoring the importance of accessible, supportive resources in the workplace.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and supporting employee mental health doesn’t have to be overwhelming. The EPIC 2026 Mental Health Toolkit is designed to make it easier for organizations to start meaningful conversations and provide practical, employee-friendly support, without pressure, perfection, or one-size-fits-all solutions.

Developed by EPIC’s Wellbeing & Health Management team, this toolkit offers a ready-to-use, five-week campaign focused on gentle awareness, education, and small, supportive actions employees can choose from based on what feels most helpful to them. The approach mirrors the toolkit’s core philosophy: awareness over restriction, flexibility over mandates, and progress over perfection.

Rather than prescribing behavior, the 2026 toolkit encourages employees to notice patterns, explore supportive resources, and build habits that can positively influence mood, focus, stress response, and overall wellbeing.

What’s Inside?

The EPIC 2026 Mental Health Toolkit is structured as a flexible, five-week Mental Health Awareness Month campaign and includes:

  • A suggested communications calendar with national mental health observances
  • Weekly email templates to promote consistent, supportive messaging
  • Mental health tools and employee-friendly resources designed for real-world use
  • A mental health fact sheet with key data points to build awareness and understanding

Organizations can run the full five-week campaign or select resources à la carte based on workforce needs and priorities. For deeper engagement, the toolkit can be paired with educational opportunities and wellbeing programming to further support a culture of care.
