FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

EPIC Motorsports Insurance is supported by a team of five experienced insurance professionals who are also active motorsports enthusiasts. The team collectively participates in HPDE events, Time Trials, club racing, professional racing, and karting, bringing real‑world track experience into how coverage solutions are structured.

These policies provide physical damage coverage only. No third-party liability coverage is provided.

Accidental damage sustained during covered sessions is eligible, including on-track incidents, run-off damage, and barrier impacts. Coverage applies on-track, in the paddock, on grid, and during parade or cool-down laps.

Mechanical failures, wear and tear, and consumables such as tires, brakes, clutches, and fluids are not covered.

All driver skill levels are welcome. Instructors are covered while driving the insured vehicle. Up to two (2) drivers may be listed per policy. The minimum eligible driver age is sixteen (16) years old.

Street-legal, non-street-legal, race-prepped, and non-DOT vehicles are eligible. Rented vehicles, third-party owned vehicles, and arrive-and-drive programs are not eligible.

Customers may choose between a 10% deductible with a $2,000 minimum or a 15% deductible with a $3,500 minimum. The maximum limit of insurance available under the program is $250,000.

Coverage begins based on the effective date selected at purchase. Same-day policies begin once the transaction is finalized. Future-dated policies begin at 12:01 a.m. on the selected effective date.

Single-Event policies may cover up to four (4) consecutive days. Annual policies remain in force for one (1) year.

Customers complete and submit a claim form, obtain an incident report from the track or event organizer, and select a repair facility of their choice. Claims are handled quickly by motorsports enthusiasts.
