Under New Leadership, The Firm Aims To Sustain Organic Growth And Expand In The Northeast
We are thrilled to announce that Karen Beldy Torborg has joined the firm as President of the Northeast Region.
In her role, Torborg will lead EPIC’s Northeast Region, succeeding Len Scioscia, who transitions to the role of Chairman of the Northeast Region. Her areas of focus include organic growth, market expansion, specialization orientation, leadership development, and maintaining EPIC’s unwavering commitment to client excellence. Scioscia will support Torborg’s transition into her leadership role as well as various corporate projects.
Torborg brings more than 30 years of experience in client advisory, practice leadership, and strategic growth within the insurance brokerage and consulting industry. Philip V. Moyles, Jr., Co-President of EPIC, shared, “I have had the privilege of knowing Karen for many years and have observed first-hand her exceptional ability to drive growth around specialization.” Prior to joining EPIC, she held multiple senior leadership roles at Marsh, including serving as Global Head of its Private Equity and M&A Services and Infrastructure businesses. Most recently, she served as Head of Strategic Growth and Portfolio Management (CRB) North America at WTW.

As regional president, Torborg will oversee the current Northeast regional leadership team and collaborate closely with regional and practice leaders across the firm. Her extensive background in global and domestic risk management brings valuable insight and expertise to drive business growth and enhance client relationships.
