Fundraising Event with EPIC Colleagues and Sponsor Partners
The People First Charitable Foundation employee volunteer committee will hold its second fundraiser, the Brews & Boards for a Cause cornhole tournament, on Wednesday, May 3, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Gate City Brewing Company in downtown Roswell, Georgia. Proceeds from the event will benefit hunger initiatives.
Chairman of the event planning committee, Teddy Gillen, said there are still openings for corporate sponsorships at each level. “Our parent company Galway and the People First Charitable Foundation are dedicated to serving the communities where our employees live and work. We are excited to host our second annual Brews & Boards for a Cause event, and we want to thank our colleagues, partners, and clients who support our 2023 fundraising efforts. We hope to see you there on May 3rd!”
The People First Charitable Foundation is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit foundation led by a board of directors and managed by EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, Galway, MAI, and Jencap employee volunteers. Our foundation and committee were established in 2021 to create a way for employees to raise money and donate to charities that serve our communities.
Our mission is to fund charities active in the communities where our employees live and work. Our goal is to put People First to help those in need. In helping to ensure against the unexpected, our foundation helps restore peace of mind for those experiencing difficulties central to our giving strategy, whether it’s disaster relief, hunger, homelessness, or health and education.
The People First Charitable Foundation is led by a Board of Directors, with collaboration from our event planning members.
