Risk & Insurance Awarded Four EPIC Team Members

We’re proud to announce that four team members earned recognition in Risk & Insurance Magazine’s 2024 Power Brokers awards for their commitment to client service, industry expertise, and innovative risk management strategies.

“We are honored to have four members recognized by the respected and competitive Risk & Insurance Power Broker Awards,” said Crawford McInnis, Chief Sales Officer at EPIC. “These highly accomplished professionals are representative of all of the hard-working brokers at EPIC who are committed to our clients.”

EPIC’s 2024 Power Broker Honorees Include:
  • At-Large Winner – Elizabeth Nguyen, Principal
  • At-Large Winner – Laura Tesoriero, Managing Principal
  • Employee Benefits Winner – Alyssa Williamson, Senior Consultant
  • Entertainment Finalist – Skylar Wilman-Saylor, Senior Account Executive

The 2024 Power Broker honorees differentiate themselves from their peers through outstanding client service, comprehensive industry knowledge, and problem-solving skills. This year, thousands of candidates were considered by the Risk & Insurance editorial team with notable competition in the Employee Benefits category.

“Liz and Laura are both extraordinary colleagues with a depth of skills that are delivered passionately to our clients every day,” said Marc Kunney, President of Risk Management, National Specialty at EPIC. “We are delighted about the honor that they have received. Laura not only helps lead EPIC’s Global Programs, she is also a dedicated client leader and technical expert who takes a creative, interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving. Liz shines as a fierce client advocate, a creative deal structurer, as well as an excellent mentor and colleague with terrific leadership skills.”

“There has never been a more demanding time to be a benefits consultant. Products are more complex in response to evolving technology and the diversity of workplace dynamics has been permanently altered. The ability to rapidly meld these changes to our client needs is what sets us apart,” said Craig Hasday, President of National Employee Benefits Practice at EPIC. “Alyssa is a superb example of the talent that our Employee Benefits team has and exemplifies our commitment to clients each and every day.”
