Our First-Ever Fundraiser
The People First Charitable Foundation employee volunteer committee will hold its first-ever fundraiser, BREWS AND BOARDS FOR A CAUSE, a cornhole tournament on Wednesday, May 18, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Gate City Brewing Company in downtown Roswell, GA.
Chairman of the event planning committee, Teddy Gillen, said there are still openings for corporate sponsorships at each level. “EPIC has always been a strong corporate supporter of the communities where our employees live and work, and we welcome our colleagues, partners and clients who support our goal of fundraising for mental health initiatives.”
Proceeds from the event will benefit mental health initiatives including Hillside Atlanta Foundation, Tunnel to Towers, National Alliance on Mental Illness, and The Trevor Project.
The People First Charitable Foundation is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit foundation led by a board of directors and managed by EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, Galway, MAI and Jencap employee volunteers. Our foundation and committee were established in 2021 to create a way for employees to raise money and donate to charities that serve our communities.
Our mission is to provide funding to charities active in the communities where our employees live and work. Our goal is to put People First to help those in need. In helping to ensure against the unexpected, our foundation helps restore peace of mind for those experiencing difficulties which are central to our giving strategy whether it’s disaster relief, hunger, homelessness, or health and education.
The People First Charitable Foundation is led by a Board of Directors, with collaboration from our event planning members.
