EPIC’s Transportation Practice Expands with Appointment of Kristy Neal as Senior Vice President
Neal to strengthen EPIC’s transportation strategy with a focus on innovation, risk management and operational efficiency for clients nationwide.
We are excited to announce the appointment of Kristy Neal as senior vice president, strategic development to its Transportation & Logistics practice. Neal will focus on integrating EPIC’s risk and insurance offerings across freight brokers and forwarders, passenger transportation and transportation risk control, while equipping its transportation team with the tools, training and resources needed to help clients strengthen their operations and improve efficiency.
Based in Vacaville, California, Neal brings over 17 years of insurance and logistics expertise to EPIC’s transportation practice. Reporting to Scott Davis, president of national specialties, she will oversee transportation initiatives spanning embedded solutions, technology partnerships, program development and client engagement. With leadership experience across insurance, transportation, logistics and supply chain – including senior roles as Head of Growth at Loadsure and Head of Enterprise Business at Cover Whale – Neal is well positioned to drive innovation and expand the value EPIC delivers to its clients.
“As someone who has built a career at the intersection of insurance, logistics and technology, I’m honored to join EPIC at such a pivotal time,” said Neal. “Transportation and logistics are the backbone of the global economy, and as the industry evolves through digital platforms and data analytics, my focus is on helping transportation clients navigate change, optimize operations, manage emerging risks and shape the future of the practice with such a talented team.”
The transportation industry is facing significant risks as global supply chains adapt to shifting trade regulations, economic uncertainty, tariffs and infrastructure limitations. With Neal’s addition, EPIC’s transportation practice is expanding to address these challenges by leveraging product specialization, consulting expertise and technology-enabled solutions to optimize both logistics and transit operations and supply chain management. Neal’s appointment strengthens EPIC’s ability to help transportation clients manage risk and position their operations for long-term success.
“EPIC’s growth strategy has always centered on building deep specializations in key industries and expanding the capabilities of our teams,” said Gregg Bundschuh, chief growth officer at EPIC. “Kristy is exactly the kind of leader who can drive that vision – helping our transportation practice innovate, address emerging risks and deliver exceptional solutions. Her leadership ensures clients benefit not only from EPIC’s existing nationwide resources, but also from the development of new tools and products designed to manage the developing risks facing the transportation industry.”
EPIC continues to deepen its expertise in industries where specialized knowledge is in greatest demand. While transportation remains a central focus, the company is also expanding its specializations in construction and design, real estate, sports and entertainment, healthcare and senior living, as well as designing tailored solutions for lawyers, accountants and dentists.
