Joins as Regional Director of Business Development

EPIC is excited to announce that Alan Boring has joined the firm as a principal. As Regional Director of Business Development for EPIC’s Southern California region, Boring will serve the increasingly complex client risk management needs while supporting EPIC’s Property & Casualty growth plans. He will also focus on Senior Level Client Engagement.

Boring brings to EPIC over 35 years of experience in the insurance brokerage and large account client service sectors. His experience spans across many client industries as well as client-facing roles in various capacities. He joins EPIC from USI Insurance, serving as Executive Vice President, Property & Casualty Practice Leader for Greater Los Angeles. During this time, he led the business development, client service and sales, and cross-sell strategy for operations within his area of responsibility. Before USI, Boring acted as a senior vice president and client executive for Wells Fargo Insurance (acquired in 2017 by USI), focusing on global manufacturers and distributors, the public sector, and power generation clients. He also spent 20 years at Aon Risk Services.

Boring received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. He serves as Board President of the Blind Children’s Center in Los Angeles.
