EPIC teamed up with Guide+Thrive to host a Webinar providing actionable tactics law firms should deploy in preparation for Mental Health Awareness Month in May and a return to work in a post-pandemic environment.

Burnout and mental health issues, which were already at an all-time high among attorneys, have been compounded during the coronavirus pandemic. A recent study discovered that many employees are planning on quitting their jobs for new opportunities once the pandemic is over, and recruiting efforts ramp up, citing burnout as the main reason they want to quit. Law firms have a unique ability and responsibility to respond to the mental health and wellbeing of their attorneys and staff.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, we hosted a webinar with Meghan Stokes, LCSW-C of Guide+Thrive.

In this webinar, we reviewed:
  • Results of our latest Market Pulse Survey
  • The Mental Health Awakening in 2020 and how to put our learning into action in 2021
  • How law firms can improve access to quality care
  • Building a culture of resiliency from the top down where attorneys and staff feel supported and understand that it’s “ok to not be ok”
