EPIC CEO Steve Denton Tackles Le Mans
In Ford Mustang Challenge Inaugural Invitational
Fueling Passion and Performance—One Lap at a Time
Motorsports has been a long-time passion of EPIC CEO Steve Denton, who has been racing cars for over 15 years. Last week, he was on the famed Le Mans circuit in France behind the wheel of the 500+ horsepower Ford Mustang Dark Horse R race car.
The lineup for the two races was 40 cars deep and the drivers included six Ford Performance junior factory drivers, Ford CEO Jim Farley, actor Frankie Muniz, and motorsports personalities like Tanner Foust, Chris Harris, and Sir Chris Hoy.
“The car is just flat-out fun,” said Denton. “It’s got power, grip and attitude—and once we got the setup dialed in, it felt like I’d been racing it for years.”
That’s right—our CEO suited up and hit the track in the European debut of the Mustang Challenge, a high-octane racing series launched by Ford and run during the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans weekend.
“Racing isn’t just about raw speed- it’s about preparation, analysis, and focus while pushing limits,” said Denton. “Just like motorsports, at EPIC, we are focused on using analytics and delivering specialized solutions that allow our clients to manage risks giving them a competitive edge”.
