EPIC’s Pearl River office recently organized a fundraiser to help support Breast Cancer Awareness Day and combat Breast Cancer. The “Fun Committee”, as it’s known locally, continues to organize various efforts for humanitarian causes near and dear to our hearts.

Those who donated $5 received a pink Breast Cancer awareness bracelet and could wear jeans to work on Monday, 10/14. Thank you to everyone who joined us in our support of this great cause! Because of your generous donations, we raised an additional $440 to help fight Breast Cancer!

EPIC Pearl River has chosen to donate the funds raised to an organization that they are locally connected to. Special thanks to Gordon Sakow for introducing us to his daughter’s organization, SHARE, which provides support for women facing cancer. www.sharecancersupport.org/

From their website: “SHARE is a national nonprofit that supports, educates, and empowers women affected by breast, ovarian, or metastatic breast cancer, with a special focus on medically underserved communities. Our mission is to connect these women with the unique support of survivors and peers, creating a community where no one has to face breast or ovarian cancer alone.”

Thank you for your EPICness Team Pearl River!
